Counselling Services
A calm, reflective space for women at a turning point — navigating grief, burnout, or life transitions— when something no longer fits, but clarity hasn’t yet formed.
Many women arrive feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, unsure whether what they’re experiencing is grief, burnout, transition or all three.
The Studio offers counselling, grounded in trauma-informed practice, nervous system awareness and a deep respect for personal pace.
Sessions are offered in a confidential setting within a historic building in Walyalup (East Fremantle), with online sessions available for regional and remote clients.
You don't need to know exactly what you need — we can begin there.
What to Expect
Drawing on decades of experience across social work, counselling, education and leadership, my approach brings together psychological understanding, somatic awareness and symbolic reflection.
Sessions are trauma-informed, ethically grounded and client-led. They are reflective rather than directive and move at a pace that respects your nervous system and lived experience.
The approach supports emotional regulation, reflective capacity and grounded decision-making —particularly during periods of grief, loss, burnout, professional uncertainty or identity shift.

Studio Sessions
Studio Sessions are offered in two formats, depending on where you are and what you need right now.
Some women begin with an Initial Studio Session — a place to slow things down and gain clarity. Others arrive knowing they're ready for a deeper, more spacious approach.
There is no right order. You're welcome to begin with the initial session, move into a one-off deeper session, or continue with regular paced support — we'll work at a pace that feels steady, respectful and supportive.
1. Initial Studio Session (90 minutes)
A first place to land
A first conversation to slow things down, make sense of what's happening, and gently clarify what support may be most helpful right now.
The Initial Studio Session is a longer first appointment — designed to give you time to arrive, settle, and be properly heard when one-hour conversations are not enough.
This session is particularly suited to experiences of grief, burnout, emotional fatigue, or life transitions — especially when familiar ways of coping no longer fit and there's a need to slow down and reflect.
The approach is intentionally structured and client-led, drawing on psychological understanding, somatic (body) awareness, and symbolic reflection to support clarity, regulation and meaning-making.
Sessions are calm, spacious and trauma-informed. They are not about quick fixes or being told what to do, but about making sense of what you're carrying and finding steadier ground during times of change.
There is time to explore what's unfolding beneath the surface — often with a cup of tea.

2. Deep Studio Session (3 hours - one off)
When you are ready to go deeper
If you have a sense that you're ready for a deeper dive — more time, more space — the Deep Studio Session may be the right fit.
This extended session is designed for women who are moving through significant grief, burnout or life transitions and know that what's needed can't be rushed. it offers time to settle, explore, and integrate at a pace that supports real clarity rather than quick insight.
The Deep Studio Session allows us to work gently and thoroughly — noticing patterns, emotional layers, and what's held in the body and mind.
There is space for reflection, pause, and meaning making, without pressure to perform, explain, or arrive at solutions.
The approach is integrative and client-led, weaving psychological understanding, somatic awareness and symbolic reflection to support clarity, regulation, and inner-knowing.
Some women come to a Deep Studio Session after an Initial Studio Session. Others arrive knowing they're ready for this depth from the outset. Both are welcome.
This is not crisis support or therapy-by-the-hour. It is intentional, trauma-informed work for women who want to engage deeply and with care and steadiness.
