These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Annette Boyle through The Studio, including counselling, clinical supervision, mentoring, education, workshops and related professional support.
By engaging in services or making an enquiry, you agree to the following terms.
1. Nature of Services
The Studio offers:

Counselling and emotional support

Clinical supervision and reflective practice

Professional mentoring and education

Wellbeing-focused conversations and integrative support
Services are grounded in professional ethics, reflective practice and relational care.
Important:
The Studio does not provide crisis, emergency or acute mental health services.

2. Scope and Limitations
Services provided by The Studio:

Are supportive, reflective and relational in nature

Do not replace medical, psychiatric or emergency care

Are not a substitute for diagnosis, emergency intervention, or crisis response
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and wellbeing.
3. Appointments and Bookings

All sessions are offered by appointment only

Bookings are made via enquiry and confirmed directly

Session length and format (in-person or online) are agreed in advance
4. Fees and Payment

Session fees are communicated prior to booking or via website booking

Payment is required on the day of service or via website booking or unless otherwise agreed

EFT and credit card payments are accepted
5. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling

Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full
6. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is respected and maintained in line with professional ethical standards.
Limits to confidentiality may apply where:

There is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others

Disclosure is required by law

Professional supervision or ethical consultation is required (de-identified where possible)
7. Professional Boundaries
The Studio operates within clear ethical and professional boundaries.

Services are not crisis care

Communication outside sessions is limited to administrative matters unless otherwise agreed

Dual relationships are avoided where possible
8. Online Services
Online sessions are conducted via secure platforms.
While reasonable care is taken, The Studio cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality of internet-based communication.
9. Changes to Services
The Studio reserves the right to update services, fees or these Terms of Service.
Current versions will always be published on the website.
