Clinical Supervision

Service Description

Clinical supervision for social workers, counsellors, educators and helping professionals who want a grounded space to think clearly, strengthen professional judgement and sustain themselves in emotionally demanding work. Sessions are reflective, educational, developmental and trauma-informed. The focus is on ethical decision-making, boundary clarity, professional confidence and sustainable practice. There is a strong early-career focus, while supervision remains available to experienced practitioners seeking thoughtful support through complexity, change or professional growth. Annette brings more than 30 years of experience across counselling, social work, education and leadership. Alongside The Studio, she works as a Clinical Educator with headspace and as a university teacher and Social Work Field Educator with UWA. These roles give her a current understanding of the transition from university and placement into professional practice—and the uncertainty, responsibility and growth that often accompany the early-career years. Supervision is calm, collaborative and non-directive, with space to slow down, explore uncertainty and develop your own clear and ethically grounded way of working. It may also support annual professional development or supervision requirements relevant to your role or professional body.
