Connection Workshop

“Times have changed, but not the need of connection. Collectively we are bringing forth an ancient way of connecting and living into modern times.” Annette Boyle

As humans we are social creatures. Our need to connect with others is deeply hardwired. Throughout history, we gathered to connect. Be it around a fire in prehistoric times, within hushed monasteries of the Middle Ages, in consciousness-raising groups in living rooms in the 1970’s or online groups in the digital age. We have long congregated to laugh, share, heal, care for children, pray, grieve and spiritually connect in community.

Times have changed, but not the need of connection. Not being connected to others can take a tremendous toll on our relationships, health, wellbeing and our survival. We want to be seen, want to be heard and want to be loved. Unfortunately, humans have never been as lonely as what we are now.

We are not on this planet alone. Making connections, sharing our stories, listening to other stories, has always been the foundation of society and of humanity. Let’s get back to that. Let’s get back to story time and open up about our journey, who we are and what inspires us. We are connections. There is nothing I am going to share with you, that your soul does not already know. I am just creating the time and space for you to quieten the mind and allow your soul to remind you of the knowledge and wisdom you already have within. The time and space to allow your other senses to kick in, especially our intuitive senses which are sometimes quieter and softer than our mind.
